It works as an efficient task manager, sending timely reminders so that deadlines aren’t missed. Wunderlist Slack app helps you create to-do lists collaboratively. It allows us to define questions that we’re being asked each day by the bot in Slack. To simplify this process, we use the Slack app “Standup Alice” which is available for free on the Slack marketplace. Apart from chatting, we're using Slack to conduct daily standups and to inform each other about yesterday's progress and today's priorities. Slack’s helpful AI, Slackbot, will recognize most casual language and convert it into an actionable reminder. You probably already know that you can set reminders in Slack using a simple “/remind” command. What can be done in the app is better than anything that requires another app. We’re already Slack users, so convenience is king. You can set a reminder for every 1st day of the month too: /remind someone What every month. Someone uses your keyword (about topics you’re interested in). Unfortunately there is no way of working this around. Someone messages the whole channel you’re in (using or You have a Slackbot reminder. Someone mentions you in a message within a channel. On Slack, you receive notifications when: Someone sends you a direct message. Quick aside on Slack reminders: I also use these to ask people to vote for different topics and remind them to complete surveys. One or two days prior, I remind everyone about the event (Slack automated reminders to the rescue!) with a link to the video call (removing the friction of finding it in their calendar).
